, Bypass of Parental Input into Abortion - Minor (Pre-Dobbs)
SF70: Repeals Minn. Stat. § 144.343, which requires a minor to notify their parents that they are seeking an abortion and provides for a procedure to bypass parental notification during which the minor is entitled to court-appointed counsel. This may have been in response to Doe v. State, 2022 WL 2662998 (D. Minn. 2022) [finding two-parent notification law unconstitutional infringement on right to privacy and equal protection].
