ABA Annual Meeting Judicial Division presentation
At this year’s American Bar Association Annual meeting, NCCRC staff will work with the ABA to give a presentation at the Judicial Division’s National Conference of State Trial Judges. The presentation, entitled 100% Access to Justice: Existing Resources for the Courts In Reaching the Goal, will look at different approaches (including the right to counsel) to meet the 100% acccess to justice goal stated by the Conference of Chief Justices and the National Conference of State Court Administrators. This will include a presentation of the NCCRC-assisted ABA Directory of Law Governing Appointment of Counsel in Civil Proceedings.
