AB1000: Changing various statutory language to be gender neutral including the right to counsel for pregnant expectant parents (formerly, “expectant mothers”) and presumed parents (formerly, “presumed fathers”. Statutes impacted include Wis. Stat. §§ 48.203 (6) (a) (notice to expectant parent of their RTC in matters related to protection of an unborn child due to substance use); 48.423 (Rights to parentage determination).
