The court may appoint counsel to represent “victims” of stalking in actions for protective orders, where the petition is not filed by the district attorney. Wyo. Stat. Ann. § 7-3-507(d).
The court also has the permissive authority to appoint counsel to “represent the victim in the action” for an order of protection due to domestic abuse. Wyo. Stat. Ann. § 35-21-103(e).
