N.D. Code 14-07.7-14, enacted in 2025, provides that “The court, upon the request of either party or upon its own motion, may appoint an attorney guardian ad litem in an action for a civil protection order to represent a minor if either party or the court has reason for special concern for the immediate future of the minor.”
