HB498: For the immediately preceding fiscal year, the Maryland Legal Services Corporation (MLSC) shall make a report to the Governor and General Assembly containing information about the number of cases in which a covered individual was provided with legal representation in eviction matters. Information shall be disaggregated by case type, including nonpayment of rent, holdover, and breach of lease. Information about the geographic distribution of cases and the disposition of cases shall also be included, along with information about the amount paid to attorneys for each case and the amount of state and local funds allocated to each designated organization.
