Ithaca joins cities with universal tenant representation

The City of Ithaca NY has enacted a resolution committing to develop a program to provide representation to tenants facing eviction, and has appropriated $125,000/year towards this program. LawNY will be providing the representation. A past data analysis showed that only 3% of tenants in Ithaca had counsel, compared to 95% of landlords.
