Right to counsel – Reinstatement of parental rights

A child whose parents had their parental rights terminated under Title 10A may petition the court to have the parents’ rights reinstated under certain circumstances delineated by statute. In such matters, “A child shall be represented during the proceeding and shall be provided independent counsel.” Okla. Stat. tit. 10A, § 1-4-909(B).
