SB468
SB468: The bill would have required notice and a hearing before an individual is included in the central child abuse registry. Specifically, it provided that a child abuse substantiation hearing must be held in conjunction with the emergency protective services adjudication hearing and that the individual has a right to counsel for such matters. However, the notice and hearing requirement (and the associated right to counsel provision) was removed through amendments made by the Senate. The bill does retain expungement procedures.
