SB539: Same as HB4604. Modifies child RTC provision to state that a child “may be” represented by legal counsel, GAL, or both and that the court shall appoint legal counsel, GAL or both (current law is that counsel is appointed for kids). Adds definition of Guardian Ad Litem to §49-1-201. and defines GAL as an attorney appointed by the court.
