Nevada , Legislation , Truancy - Petition Against Child

Pursuant to Nev. Rev. Stat. § 62B.320(1)(a), truancy is treated as a “child in need of supervision” matter.  And children have a right to appointed counsel regardless of indigence in such proceedings pursuant to Nev. Rev. Stat. § 62D.030.
