Delaware Lawyer Magazine focuses on access to justice, right to counsel

09/24/2019 , Delaware , Bar Effort , All Basic Human Needs

The latest issue of Delaware Lawyer focuses on access to justice and has an article by the NCCRC Coordinator that looks at the very general history of the right to counsel in civil cases and then zooms in on some of the issues in Delaware’s RTC law related to child welfare and civil contempt.  Another article by NCCRC participant Daniel Atkins of the Community Legal Aid Society looks at some Delaware-specific outcomes and cost savings data, while a third article dives into data from Delaware and elsewhere on outcomes.

The NCCRC Coordinator authored one of the articles in the issue.
