NEW RESOURCE: advancing racial/health justice through RTC
The NCCRC, Human Impact Partners, ChangeLab Solutions, PolicyLink, and Results for America have released a new policy brief: Advancing Racial and Health Justice Through a Right to Counsel for Tenants: A Primer for the Public Health Field.
This primer reviews what right to counsel laws are, how they advance racial and health justice, and ways public health practitioners can support right to counsel efforts.
In March 2024, the brief’s authors held a webinar to further explore the resource and feature several expert speakers. You can check out the webinar recording, presentation slides, and answers to questions posed during the webinar.
In addition to the partners listed above, this project was also supported by the de Beaumont Foundation and the American Public Health Association through their Healing Through Policy Initiative.
The NCCRC is one of the co-authors of the report.
