LD2283: Provides that a family or household member, a law enforcement agency or a law enforcement officer may file a petition requesting that the court issue a crisis intervention order, alleging that the respondent poses a significant danger of causing severe harm to the respondent or another person by purchasing, possessing or receiving a firearm or by having or attempting to have control or custody of a firearm; upon the filing of a petition, the court shall appoint an attorney to represent the respondent at the hearing if the respondent is unable to afford one.
