Fordham Urban Law Journal, Volume 51.5 is a companion to the law school’s symposium held earlier this year: With People Struggling and the Law Failing, What are the Solutions to the Access to Justice Crisis in America? NCCRC Steering Committee member David Udell wrote the Foreword and there are several articles that explore eviction and the tenant right to counsel, including:
- Right to Counsel for Tenants Facing Eviction: Justification, History, and Future by NCCRC Coordinator, John Pollock.
- Stop the Violence: A Taxonomy of Measures to Abolish Evictions by NCCRC Steering Committee Andrew Scherer.
- Maximizing Housing Stability and Minimizing Evictions: Evidence-Based Models That Keep Tenants in Their Homes and Out of the Court by Neil Steinkamp.
NCCRC Coordinator John Pollock wrote one of the articles.
