HB2521: Tracking for internal reasons. Same as SB 2557. Tracking for internal reasons. Bill would remove “assisted community treatment” matters from the public defense code. Presumably, individuals subject to such proceedings would still be entitled to counsel under the generally applicable code provisions governing family court matters.
