Assisted outpatient treatment bill dies in Committee
HB 424 would have created a process for assisted outpatient treatment with a right to counsel attached; the court would have been required to appoint counsel for respondents who are “indigent, unwilling, or unable to retain counsel.” Unfortunately, the bill died in Committee.
