HB653: Provides that for guardianships sought by parents of a child with profound intellectual disabilities who is becoming an adult, court is not required to appoint attorney ad litem if certain filing requirements are met and none of the exceptions apply (e.g., the court has any reason to believe that one or more of the assertions set out in the petitioner-parent’s affidavit are untrue).
