Right to counsel

Maine , Litigation , Incarceration for Fees/Fines (incomplete)

In Colson v. Joyce, 646 F. Supp 102 (D. Me. 1986), the court held that there is a right to counsel in Maine’s Section 1304 proceedings as a matter of federal due process.
