Help Us Support the RTC Movement!

The National Coalition for a Civil Right to Counsel (NCCRC), a project of the Public Justice Center (PJC), celebrated our 20th anniversary in 2023! We couldn’t have achieved this milestone without the amazing support of our participants, partners, and supporters nationwide. With this help, we have been able to protect and advance the right to counsel in basic human needs civil cases across the country.

Why donate to the NCCRC? Your contribution makes a real difference for us. We’re a small but ambitious team, and your help can enable us to provide technical assistance to tenant organizers in developing strategies to advance RTC in their city, develop essential resources and training opportunities like the tenant right to counsel Sprints, and support (or oppose) litigation and legislation that impacts the right to counsel in civil cases.

What is the Public Justice Center? The NCCRC is a project of the Public Justice Center (PJC), a non-profit law firm in Baltimore, Maryland. The PJC does incredible legislative and litigation work in housing, education stability, workplace justice, health equity, and so much more. We’re proud to be one of PJC’s projects, and if you see one of the donation options below naming the PJC, that’s why.
