Sterilization forbidden without statutory authorization

In Hudson v. Hudson, 373 So.2d 310, 311 (1979), the court held that absent specific statutory authorization, the inherent equity power of the circuit court over both incompetents and minors did not include the power to order a surgical sterilization.
